The Amazon Influencers Program is an invitation only program and it is a really fun way to make money blogging.
Basically, you get to have your own page on Amazon where you can display products that you love.
And it’s not some obscure page either.
The URL is an easy to remember, easy to share URL so you can send traffic to it via your blog, social, or even verbally.

How the Amazon Influencers Program Works
Once you join the Amazon Influencers Program and set up your page you are ready to start adding products.
When you find a product that you would like to add to your Influencer page all you need to do is click the the down arrow next to the button in the right column (on desktop) that says add to list.
Choose the list that you want and you are done – then find another product to add.
One big advantage is that you have the ability to create a bunch of different lists for the products that you add to your page.
It wasn’t always this way.
In the early days of the Amazon Influencer Program you could only create one big huge list with all your products jumbled together.
This has changed and you can now create multiple lists – thank goodness!
You definitely want to create many targeted lists.
What Do You Put On Your Amazon Influencer Page?
Because your Influencer Page is all yours, you can do just about anything you want with it.
I have lists for many of the different things that I blog about.
My lists include a:
- Kitchen Organization List
- Cricut Machines and Accessories List
- Everything Instant Pot List
- and other lists centered around holidays, things I use, and things I love.
Of course, it is all very practical. 😉
Don’t Set It and Forget It
The best way to use your Amazon Influencer page is to make it a work in progress.
Add a new things daily.
Remove items that are no longer relevant.
And most importantly have fun with it!
Your audience loves you for a reason – so they will be very interested to see what products you recommend.
Wouldn’t you rather buy something based on a recommendation from someone whose opinion you trust?
This is your opportunity to be that person.
Where Do You Share Your Amazon Influencer Page?
To make money with your Amazon Influencer Page, you need to share it.
You can tweet it out and share it on Facebook.
But as a blogger, it is important to tell people about it in your blog posts – especially if you are writing a product related post.
A big advantage is that you can link to a specific list and not just to your main page.
So, if I am writing an article with a Cricut project, I can link directly to my Cricut list.
If it makes sense, I can even take it one step further and create an Amazon Influencer List for that particular project. This would work if there were a lot of supplies involved that are available on Amazon.
Amazon also encourages you to share your Influencer Page in your YouTube videos, if you do video.
Think about it – when you write a blog post or record a video, you are really connecting with people on a deeper level than just a tweet.
If they like the information that you are providing they will be more likely to want to see the products that you recommend.
How to Join the Amazon Influencers Program

I don’t know the exact criteria they use to evaluate applicants, but the website does say that they look at more than just followers.
They also look at the type of content and it’s relevancy.

They definitely only look at followers, I just tried to join the influencer program and you have to type in your number of followers…I hit enter and then I was denied. I am an Amazon associate and have been making sales, they should have it open to all associates. I just want a nice uniform space to have all of my favorite products so I can feature it on my blog.

Yes, I do believe the influencer program is tied to number of social media followers, as it is designed more for sharing than including on your blog.
Honestly, for your blog I think bloggers will get a better conversion using one of the custom widgets within a post. The products you showcase will be much more targeted than an influencer page.
