Hi Neetika,
This is a great idea! Kind of like Tinder for storage bowls – glass bowl seeking well fitting lid. 🙂

Hi Cindy,
It is really frustrating. I, too, have some Pyrex lids on their last legs and have been holding off ordering new ones but it seems like the best option because I hate to toss the perfectly good glass containers even though the cost difference is not so much.

What it would cost me to replace lids for 6 of my smaller containers? $10 less than buying a whole set. Industries set us up by doing things like this. The sets I have are a mishmash from when I got married almost 30 years ago and what came from my parent’s house when we cleaned it out. And no, I don’t put lids in the dishwasher. Those are always hand washed. Waste. Waste. Waste.

The ones we have had 25+ years are the dark green.

I would be very curious to know what the change is and why. Both are used equally both go top shelf in the dishwasher- but so am wondering if I need to hand wash them in the future.

I don’t want to buy more lids to warp in the microwave. Yes, I know if you lift a corner yadayada,.. but “ain’t nobody got times for dat!” Why do I need to do that when I can use a Vented lid??
They are harder to find than a N95. Why?

I would try reusable silicone bags that are used for sous vide cooking. I have some and they’re pretty amazing!

I like to reheat in my Instant Pot but my silicone lids are either too small or too big. i’d Like to keep, the water out and I don’t use aluminum foil or,plastic wrap. Have you heard of anyone finding these? Thanks.

I have no problem investing in quality cookware, but it’s clear to me that Snapware is not in the business of replacement lids. Not for what they charge and not for what they offer. It’s ridiculous that I can go to Costco and get the 18 piece set for less than a set of replacement lids. So, I know they are rigging it.

Riddle me this – I can find the lids that press over. I have not been able to find the lids that actually SNAP! as in Snapware. Ideas?
